United Valley Insurance Services is pleased to announce the addition of a new member in Southern California, Smith-Kandal Insurance Agency, effective June 1, 2018.
Smith-Kandal Insurance Agency was founded in 1936 in Brawley, California by S. Quay Smith. The agency specializes in insurance and real estate for personal, commercial and agricultural business lines. Brothers, Kevin and Greg Smith own this multi-generational agency. The next generation of leadership has also been established with Kevin’s son Darren, who joined the agency in 2004, as a producer and Darren’s wife Melissa, who joined in 2015, as the HR Administrator and Controller. The agency has a heavy emphasis on farm and agriculture. In addition, the agency also writes property owners, construction, light manufacturing and BOP business.
