After 15 years with United Valley Insurance Services and over 40 years in the insurance industry, Susan Johnson is retiring.
For the last three years, Sue has been an integral part of our Service Team. Prior to that, she worked as a rate processor for our program business with CIG.
Not only did Sue bring a wealth of knowledge and insurance experience, but she was always willing to help others. Sue was voted “Most Helpful” by United Valley Insurance Services’ members and received the Award of Excellence at this year’s trade show in April.
Sue’s favorite part about working at United Valley Insurance Services is the member agents. She has been able to make lasting bonds with those she’s worked with over the years.
“United Valley has always been a part of each of its members and employees. United Valley is like family,” said Johnson.
She will miss her United Valley co-workers the most. “Everyone is ready to pitch in and lend a helping hand whether it is with a work issue or a personal issue. United Valley co-workers have been there for me through some tragic events in my life. I will never forget the help and support of each and every one of them,” said Johnson.
So, what will Sue be up to after she retires? Sue doesn’t plan to fully leave the business world yet. After some time off, she hopes to work part-time to keep her busy. She also loves to crotchet.
