United Valley Insurance Services has expanded its operations to include two new members in Southern California.
We are pleased to welcome new members DIAI Insurance Brokerage, Inc. of Huntington Beach and Erickson Insurance Agency, Inc. of La Mesa, CA. Collectively these agencies have 98 years of insurance industry experience.
DIAI INSURANCE BROKERAGE
DIAI Insurance Brokerage, Inc has been in business since 1972 and is owned by Edward and Debbie DeMeulle. DIAI was started by Edward DeMeulle’s father, William DeMeulle. The agency has a focus on insuring Concrete Pumpers since 1974 and additional commercial and personal lines risk.
Edward grew up in the insurance business and spent his younger years gaining experience managing a multi-location wholesale heavy duty truck parts distributor where he met Debbie. They purchased the brokerage 11 years ago from Ed’s parents. Ed and Debbie have raised their children in Huntington Beach where they participate in many organizations within the community. They have both been leaders in the scouting organizations, youth orchestral and band organizations, and local community civic groups. Ed is currently Vice President of his local Orange Coast BNI chapter with Business Networking International and Debbie is on the board for a local Youth Orchestra.
ERICKSON INSURANCE AGENCY, INC.
Started by Steve’s father Jerry Erickson in 1960, son Landon is the third generation to be involved in the family business. Landon has been with the agency for seven years. Their staff of 10 provides a service-oriented, “hands-on” approach to clients needs. As a full-service brokerage, Erickson Insurance provides all lines of insurance, including commercial, personal and life/health. In addition, the agency puts extra emphasis on safety and risk management counsel for their commercial clients.
Over the years, the agency staff have volunteered at a wide variety of group and individual events and projects. On a personal level, the Ericksons are involved in numerous community-focused volunteer events throughout the year, including a monthly commitment to serving at the local Ronald McDonald House.
