United Valley participated in raising funds for the 2018 Fresno-Clovis Walk to End Alzheimer’s. One of the activities that took place to raise funds was Penny Wars. United Valley collected change in a competition to win the most pennies. Silver coins and dollars subtracted points from a team. The Member and Company Relations Team won with 178 points and the Service Team won with the most money raised of $154.10. United Valley raised a total of $423.37 for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The Fresno-Clovis Walk to End Alzheimer’s took place on September 22, 2018 at Fresno State in Fresno, California. As of October 1, 2018, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s has raised $149,195.40. Money raised will go to benefit those affected by Alzheimer’s in our community. United Valley was also a gold sponsor of the walk.
