Excess/Umbrella Insurance
Umbrella or excess liability insurance adds another layer of liability protection for your business.
If your business is deemed liable for an act that causes property damage, bodily injury or personal injury, any damages you are responsible for must be paid by you or your business. If your commercial liability policy limit is exhausted, excess liability or umbrella coverage may be available.
Excess liability is one of the least expensive ways to add liability protection. It is generally added in increments of $1,000,000 and can be available as high as $100 million.
Determining the proper amount of excess liability coverage can be complicated. Talk to a United Valley member agency to find out how to make sure your business has sufficient liability coverage.
