Auto Insurance

Protect what you drive.

A car is not just something we use to get from point A to point B. It’s what keeps us connected to the world around us, what maintains the rhythm of life.

Try living without your car for one day. Suddenly just getting to work or to the grocery store turns into a frustrating, time-consuming quest.

Auto insurance helps us keep up with the pace we’ve set for our lives and protects us from the inherent risks we take by sitting behind the wheel.

TYPES OF AUTO INSURANCE COVERAGE

Our member agencies understand the unique auto insurance requirements for California drivers and can help you put together a comprehensive auto insurance protection plan for your family.

With over 60 insurance carrier partners, we will find a package just right for your family, including important discounts, like:

  • Good Driver Discount
  • Multi Policy Discount
  • Good Student Discount

And there are even some discounts you haven’t heard about–like special occupational discounts for teachers, scientists, and engineers, or discounts for completing a defensive driving course.

In California, you are required to carry Liability Coverage which pays for losses your vehicle causes other people. All drivers are required by law to pay for losses they cause others even if your state doesn’t require coverage. Auto insurance is the easiest way for most people to comply with the law.

Other coverages you may want to consider are:

  • Collision
  • Comprehensive
  • Medical
  • Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist
  • Rental Reimbursement
  • Roadside Assistance
WHAT IF I FINANCE A CAR?

If you finance a car, it is usually necessary to have insurance that covers damages to your vehicle in the event of an accident. This includes:

Collision insurance
Collision insurance coverage pays for damages to your vehicle in an automobile accident when you are deemed “at fault.” Standard collision coverage pays for repairs based on the fair market value of your vehicle.

Comprehensive coverage
Comprehensive insurance covers damages to your vehicle caused by any unknown party or “act of God.” This includes damages caused by vandalism, theft, flood, hurricane, windshield damage, fire, etc. Like collision coverage, comprehensive insurance coverage will pay up to the fair market value of your car.
